The territory

La Ghiandaia Bed & Breakfast is situated in a hamlet of the commune of San Biagio di Callalta called Cavriè. In this agricultural zone the Treviso chicory and white asparagus are grown, which you can buy in the right season from local producers. In our hamlet there is also a dairy that prepares an excellent Casatella Dop of Treviso, the Latteria cheese and very particular dairy specialties, all to taste.

Thi B&B is beautifully sited which let’s you to easily visit Treviso, the Venetian pedemontana area, the Prosecco Hills (Colline del Prosecco), Venice (reachable by train or boat on an unusual itinerary on the Sile river), the Piave river, the Great War itineraries, Possagno and the Canova’s gallery of plaster casts , Vittorio Veneto, the Cansiglio, seaside resorts (Jesolo, Caorle and Bibione), Padua, Belluno, the Venetian Dolomites, the Friuli, Trieste with it’s Miramare Castle of and much more.
